KUTCH -

It is one of the main districts in Gujarat.

This district has high population when

compared to other districts of the state.

The climate here is dry and semi-desertic.

The main language is KUTCH. The best

part is THE GREAT RANN OF

KUTCH pass through this region.

                                                    SAURASHTRA

                                      This is the westernmost region of Gujarat. 

                                                     This region has nearly 8 districts.                                                                      Climatic conditions are dry at this place. 

                                                    The air here has a high moisture content.                                                         This region is mostly covered by black soil.

                                                   KATHAAWADI is the majorly spoken language.                                                                                                                     

 CENTRAL GUJARAT

 

 

 The major city of Gujarat, AHMEDABAD comes in this region. There are nearly 10 districts in this region. The lands in this part are very fertile. 

Most of the people residing in this part are forest tribes. Commonly spoken language is GUJARATI.

 

 

NORTH GUJARAT

This region is towards the north part of Gujarat. The soil here is very fertile and the moisture is less. The air here is dry. The language here is GUJARATI but with few exceptions.

 

SOUTH GUJARAT

This region has nearly 7 districts. The climate here is semi-dry. Many of irrigation projects in Gujarat are build in the south region. The culture and traditions here are same as central Gujarat. GUJARATI is majorly spoken language.
