RAILWAYS

You can reach Gujarat, also by train. There are internal rail connections available to interior parts of Gujarat likeKutchh and Saurashtra. The most important railway stations are Ahmedabad station, Vadodara station, Rajkot station etc. There are also superfast trains available from Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad but make sure that you have your reservation in advance as these trains are generally full.

ROADWAYS

Gujarat is well connected to many parts of the country. There are nearly 13 highways through the state of gujarat. Some of the major roads are 2lane or 4lane highways. You can  book tickets of a air conditioned bus or you can also prefer to take your own car.
